Memorial Day

Please remember our Veterans on Memorial Day and every day. Please pause for a moment or two to consider the sacrifices of all Veterans who have given freely so that we all may enjoy our freedom. As it was their job to defend our freedom, so it becomes our job to honor their memories.

Memorial Day, once there was a time to commemorate those who have fought and died in wars to keep us great. Those feelings, now I fear, have greatly weakened instead replaced by America‚Äôs love of the 3 day weekend. (Richard Shuster) Thank you Richard Shuster.

Norma and I want to thank all of you who kept the home fires burning as we enjoyed a short vacation. We had a wonderful time of rest and relaxation in New York and a week at home. Many things have happened in two weeks and we are so blessed to be a part of this great church body. I also want to thank all of you for my Happy Birthday wishes and blessings.

We enjoyed the great service we attended in New York City but I can assure there is no place like our home church. Perhaps one of the most underrated blessings a Christian enjoys is a church where they know they are loved and appreciated.

God is pouring out His Spirit on our congregation with blessings, signs and wonders. One of the greatest gifts is the gift of His Holy Spirit. Jesus wants all of His children to be filled with the Baptism of His Holy Spirit with evidence.

We are living in the most exciting time as we anticipate the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

God Bless,  Pastor Roger
